Some interesting moments in this episode: the use of scenes from Doppelganger and the Lunar Module used for an EVA. And we, the viewer, see part of the alien homeworld, unlike Straker and his team.
The space scenes are excellent as always but some of the other scenes, in Moonbase and SHADO hq for example, are a little uneven, with Ellis being subdued and more than a little miserable in one scene and then deliberately helping the scientist to pull a fast one over Straker. Somehow, that didn't seem plausible.
Henderson was his usual grumpy self, but there was sense of willingness to support Straker at the end.
A solid, traditional sci-fi story after the angst of Court Martial.
